Any government issued ID works, physical or digital. NSW Digital Driver Licence via the Service NSW app is accepted. If you don’t have valid ID on entry, you’ll be assigned an under 18s wristband and be unable to purchase alcoholic beverages.

The Gig is an all ages event, though the lineup features punk and metal acts with adult themes, and alcohol will be served throughout.

We recommend parents use their judgement for younger kids, and that children under 16 be accompanied by an adult.

All attendees under 18 will receive an identifying wristband, and only those with an 18+ wristband and valid ID will be able to purchase alcohol.

No. This is a strictly no pass out event. Exiting the venue will invalidate your ticket for the rest of the night.

Yes. Bag checks are on entry.

Yes. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase by those of legal drinking age who have an 18+ wristband. Bartenders may request ID again on service, at their discretion.

The Gig goes ahead rain or shine. In the case of severe weather there may be a brief pause.

The Agricultural Pavilion has a flat floor, accessible parking, and accessible toilets will be on site. There are no steps between the car park and the venue entrance. The path from the car park to the entrance is paved. Outside areas are grass.

Yes. If you hold a valid NSW Companion Card and have purchased a ticket to The Gig, your companion is covered. Get in touch via the form below and we’ll sort it out for you.
