Orange City Council is proud to support The Gig with $10,000 through its Event Development Fund.

Live music is an important part of Orange’s events scene, and Council is pleased to back events that bring new audiences to the city, support local businesses and create more opportunities for people to experience great music in regional NSW. The Gig adds something different to Orange’s calendar, bringing together internationally known acts and emerging artists across two nights of metal, punk and hardcore music.

Supporting up-and-coming artists is something Council values across a number of its events and programs, including Zest Fest, where emerging performers are given a platform alongside established acts. Through the Event Development Fund, Council supports events that attract visitors, encourage overnight stays and contribute to the local economy, while helping build a diverse and exciting year-round events calendar for Orange.

The Parkview Hotel is a historic pub in the heart of Orange, offering great food, cold drinks, accommodation and a relaxed beer garden.
